When you are content with what is, at peace within, and free to be exactly as you are, there is no motive to change anyone, or anything, at anytime.
Life moves you where it will, and everywhere you go, you are exactly where you should be.
We can let go when the waves are strong, and let the water take us where it will, but we can’t manage the waves. We can surf the waves as they are, and appreciate the natural forces at work, but we can’t make a big wave smaller or a small wave bigger. A wave will always be a wave.
When we seek for a better moment, or a different moment, or think that what is here should be something other than it is, we suffer, because we hold two things in opposition. What is, and what ‘should be’, are seen as two different and opposing forces.
When we have accepted what is fully, exactly as it is right now, there is only one thing present, in any and every moment. What is here now, is simply what is. The movement to achieve a better moment stops, and we begin to steep in the deep and true satisfaction of spirit.
When change is needed, it happens naturally on its own, like the caterpillar becoming a butterfly, or the summer leaves turning yellow and falling when the time is right. Change is natural intelligence at play in the world of form; natural, simple and effortless (though not necessarily painless); change happens when it’s ready, with a power and intelligence that is trustworthy.
